Tuesday. I depart for Singapore on Saturday, embarking on an epic flight from Santiago to Atlanta to Chicago to Tokyo to Singapore.
Today after lunch I read Medea by Euripedes, and found these lines extremely beautiful:
The bride will take her diadem,
she'll take her golden ruin.
With her own hand she'll fix
across her lovely yellow hair
the jewelry of death.
Tomorrow is a public holiday in Chile: the Assumption of Mary. That means no work woo.
Wow! It's like they planned your itinerary from Santiago to Singapore by using the Risk board game.
