There are small gaps between thoughts.
What is happening then? Are they moments of subconscious reprieve, little 'naps' of consciousness that allows for an underlying meaning to surface?
Or do they give the real definition of nothing. The ultimate vacuum where nothing is created or perceived. No dreams, nor conceptions.
So what *exactly* happens in between statements and concrete ideas?
2 + 2 = 4
The spaces between ideas form an enigma that remains impossible to even contemplate.
Buddhism is all about those gaps between thoughts. Ideal Enlightenment would give person the ability to stretch out that period between thoughts to infinite proportions, at will. Meditation is the practice of stretching those gaps out.
